Andrew Conover Burns, Jr.
Andrew has been a passionate student of the investment markets since reading his first book about Warren Buffett in college. He was most recently a member of the investment committee at Global Endowment Management (“GEM”), a leading outsource-CIO investment firm, where he was one of two investment Principals overseeing the firm’s activities in public markets. After joining their inaugural analyst class in 2008, Andrew worked at GEM for 10 years and, during his tenure, helped the firm grow its asset base 15-fold. He left GEM to found Conover in 2018. Outside of work, Andrew is a member of the Development Committee for KIPP Charlotte, a highly successful national charter school program, and has participated extensively in the Big Brother/Big Sister program. Andrew studied Economics and History at Duke University and is a CFA® charterholder.
